It was adiyen’s atyanta bhagyam to have got the opportunity to render a three day upanyasam on Swami Desikan’s anubhavam of Devaperumal at Sri Desika Sabha, Mumbai. It was the krupa of adiyen’s acharyan Sri U Ve Dr.S.Padmanabhachariar and his elder brother Sri U.Ve.Saranathachariar that this opportunity came by. Adiyen was fortunate to get an opportunity to render a sorpozhivu (speech in Tamil) on the topic ‘udalum uyirum’ or the ‘shareera-aatma’ bhava of Vishishtadvaita philosophy during the 26th annual day celebrations and 10th Srivaishnava maanaadu (conference) of Thirumal Thondar Kulam organisation of Coimbatore.
One should visit Coimbatore to see in person and experience the Srivaishnava lakshanam exhibited by the hundreds of Ramanuja Dasas who are a part of the Thirumal thondar kulam. The astikyam and bhagavatha seshatvam of the srivaishnavas over there is amazing.
Acharya krupa got me this opportunity.

Adiyen had the opportunity to render a 9 day upanyasam @ Keyes High School, West Marredpally, Secunderabad. Sri Desika Sabha, Secunderabad had organised the upanyasam and adiyen extends anantha koti dhanyavathangal to the Sabha – especially to Sri Navalpakkam Seshadri Swami who had approached adiyen with the opportunity (Sri Navalpakkam Vasudevachar gracefully recommended adiyen’s name; adiyen’s anatha koti dhanyavathangal to him).
The audio recordings were uploaded to YouTube by Sri Veeravalli Raghunathan Swami (US). Adiyen’s anatha koti dhanyavathangal to that Swami as well for his self-less kainkarya to the srivaishnava sampradaya at large.
Adiyen was overwhelmed by the hospitality extended by the Srivaishnavas of Bhagyanagaram (Secunderabad). My namaskarams to them (especially to Smt and Sri Vasupradha Ranganathan dampati and their son Dharaneedharan for hosting adiyen during the stay)

Emberumanaar darshanam was the topic for first three days, Sri Yatiraja Vaibhavam for the next three days and Sri Ramanuja Nootrantathi along with Sri Yatiraja Saptati for the remaining days.

It was sheer grace of Acharyas that adiyen was commanded by H.H.Poundareekapuram Andavan (Paravakkottai Chinnandavan) to render an upanyasam on Amrtaasvaadini rahasyangal on Sri Nigamanta Mahadesikan on the 27th of April 2019. With the training and blessings of adiyen’s kalakshepa acharyan Dr.S.Padmanabhachariar (Srikaryam, Sri Ahobila mutt), the upanyasam went off well at the Ashram of H.H.Srimad Andavan which was followed by a splendid darshan of Rangarajan on Hamsa vahanam! Adiyen’s Mahabhagyam. The upanyasam gave adiyen an opportunity to learn something.

Adiyen is indebted to Sriman.Srikant Sampathkumar of Choolaimedu for giving an opportunity to render an upanyasam on the topic ‘Virataparva’ on 10th of March 2019 between 4.30 pm and 6 pm @ Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal koil on Choolaimedu High road. The topic is huge and the time was limited. Hence adiyen had to rush with the Sanskrit verses. This was the first time on this topic. Could be improved next time though. Overall it was a great opportunity to go through the wonderful Virata parva. The Satsangha led by Sriman Srikant is doing wonderful kainkarya at this temple.

As a part of the ongoing celebrations of the 750th birth anniversary of Swami Desika the astikas of Thiruvahindrapuram had invited Sri.U.Ve.Dr.S Padmanabhachariar, Srikaryam of Sri Ahobila mutt on the 15th of August 2018, to deliver an upanyasam on Sri Godastuti, an excellent stuti on Goda piratti by Swami Desikan.
The recording is not of a much sophisticated quality as it was an open ambience and also it rained heavily in the middle.
Swami has verily nicely given the gist of each of the 29 verses in the given one hour 15 minutes duration.

It was a memorable experience for adiyen to have had darshan of Lord Devanathan and his consort Hemambujavalli Thayar, Lord Hayagreevan and Swami Desika in the presence of adiyen’s Guru after the upanyasam was over.
